A Song for George Harrison
I was out on business travel when George Harrison passed away. I was sitting at breakfast in a hotel restaurant and heard it on CNN. I was, and am, deeply saddened by his passing. I have been a fan for many years. When I got home later that night I ran through some of George's songs on guitar. I loved them then, I love them now. I was inspired to write a song. This is for you, George.
I've been working on this for the past few weeks. It just kind of grew out of some of George's chords and song titles. Writing and recording this song was good for me. It brought back great memories. I got choked up a few times and had to re-record a few tracks.
I'm doing the guitars and vocals and my buddy Carl is playing bass.
